Alexandra Squire is a very bold woman who chose a different career path at a stage that people normally consider too late. She is not afraid of the consequences and pursues whatever she feels is right in her gut. This is how the transition from a media career to an artistic career took place. She had two young children back when she made this risky decision. However, she chose her happiness and passion over sacrifice. Art defines her and she is incomplete without it.
Do you know what is the best part about her artworks? It is not about keeping with the trends rather it is about creating art that is amusing and considerable and has a depth of meaning and varied explanations. She believes that art her another identity of herself. Alexandra is very particular about her artworks. She strives for perfection and this is why her pace is quite slow. For instance, one painting will take her many weeks to finalize. She is very particular about the colouring and blending process and takes a lot of time to make it as per her aesthetic. Her painting process begins with outlining her idea on her iPad. Working on a digital device allows her to try out different colour palettes. After finalizing it, she moves to a small canvas or wood piece to get the real picture. Once she is satisfied with the idea, she finally starts painting it on wood panels. She uses the highest quality materials and spends a great deal of time thinking about her work, planning how it will come together, and executing her plan. Nothing about it is careless or unintentional. She wants her audience to know how seriously she takes her work and how committed she is to her growth and evolution.
Many of Alexandra’s work has been exhibited in galleries regionally and nationally, and her paintings are a part of private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Recently, Alexandra released her new Collection “Structured” which is available on her website. She looks forward to seeing Alexandra Squire Fine Art become synonymous with accessible fine art.
